Feeling God’s Love Through Physical Touch

Month of love: lets talk Love Languages

The last love language in my series: Physical Touch. 💛As a child, I was always reaching for a hug, a hand to hold, or a playful squeeze—but life doesn’t always give us what we desire.

Now, I reflect on how I tangibly experience God’s love and promises in my life.Whether through communion, anointing, or something as simple as a handclap game with my mum, I’m reminded that love can be felt in the simplest ways.

💫How do you experience God’s love through touch?

Let’s talk in the comments! 💬

Learning to Receive – The Love Language of Receiving Gifts

Month of love: lets talk Love Languages

Receiving gifts as a love language can be a tricky one—especially when it comes to our relationship with God. For a long time, I struggled with this. I found it hard to accept gifts, blessings, or even simple acts of kindness. But through unlearning and reflection, I’ve realised that the greatest gift of all is God’s love and salvation—everything else is simply a bonus.

Over the last five months, I’ve been living in a multifaceted answered prayer, and daily, I’m reminded of God’s goodness in the smallest details. From waking up in His mercy to finding unexpected joy in little blessings, I’ve come to see gifts not just as material things but as reflections of God’s love, peace, and provision.

Recently, at a @shopkem event, I received a small goodie bag, but it wasn’t just about the products inside—it was the scripture remix on the packaging that caught my attention. A simple detail, yet it filled me with unexplainable joy. It reminded me that sometimes, the most meaningful gifts aren’t grand gestures, but small reminders of love and encouragement.

How do you receive gifts from God? Do you embrace them with gratitude, or do you struggle to accept them? Let’s talk about it.

Love Languages & Words of Affirmation: Speaking Life into Your Spirit

Month of love: lets talk Love Languages

Words carry weight. They have the power to build up, to heal, and to transform. When we embrace Words of Affirmation as a love language, we not only uplift those around us but also nourish our own spirit by speaking life-giving truths over ourselves.

The Bible reminds us:
📖 “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” — Proverbs 18:21

Just as we long to hear affirming words from loved ones, God desires us to affirm His truth in our lives. Whether through scripture, prayer, or journaling, intentionally declaring God’s promises strengthens our faith and renews our perspective.

💡 Try This: Write a love letter to God—expressing gratitude, declaring His faithfulness, and affirming His Word over your life. Because the more we speak His truth, the more our hearts align with His love. ❤️

Love Languages in Biblical Actuality: Quality Time with God

Month of love: lets talk Love Languages

Spending quality time with God isn’t just a practice—it’s a love language. In this post, I reflect on a life-changing moment in Zanzibar, where stillness led to surrender, and surrender led to purpose. Learn how to deepen your faith through uninterrupted time with God and why it’s essential for spiritual growth. Psalm 46:10 — 'Be still, and know that I am God.'
