A Winter Warmer; Vegetable Gyoza Soup with Ginger & Garlic Broth
There’s something special about soup. Beyond its ability to nourish the body, a warm bowl has the power to lift your spirit. It’s like a gentle embrace, reminding us of God’s care and provision even in the colder, darker days of winter.
Trusting in God's Provision during Christmas
When I read Luke 4:3-4, I can’t help but pause at the way the devil approaches Jesus. He begins with, “If you are the Son of God...” It’s subtle, almost like he’s trying to plant a seed of doubt.
This strikes me because it’s not unfamiliar. How often do I find myself in situations where the world—or even my own mind—whispers doubts? The devil knows Scripture, and here, he tries to twist it to test Jesus. That’s a sobering reminder: it’s not just about knowing the Word, but letting the Word know me, shape me, and anchor me.
