Preparing for the Seasons: A Warm Cup, A Warm Body, A Ready Spirit
When the Weather Drops, I Reach for Warmth
The weather has severely dropped here in London town. Just last week, we were basking in pockets of sunshine and heat — now, since Saturday, it’s been rain on rain on rain.
I don’t know if there’s an official term for it, but I’m definitely a weather-eating babe. If it’s grey and wet outside, you’ll find me with my kettle on — warming my body from the inside out.
I’ve learned that for women — especially in our 30s and beyond — keeping the body warm, the womb warm, is more than just comfort. It’s a practice rooted in so many traditional and holistic teachings: warmth nourishes, soothes, and supports the rhythms of our bodies.

Tomatoes & Basil: A Parable on Growing Together
What started as TikTok Obsession, inspired lunch, became a life lesson 🍅✨
Tomatoes grow better when paired with basil.
Basil doesn’t bear fruit, but it protects the process.
It enhances the taste.
It helps the tomato thrive.
Not everyone in your garden is meant to bear fruit.
Some are here to help you grow.
Let God do the pairing.
Let pruning do its work.
And when the harvest comes… don’t forget the flavour.
