Halfway There: Reflection, Fasting & Realignment With God

July is moments away… which means we’re approaching the halfway mark of 2026.

If that makes you anxious, discouraged, or even disappointed, this is your reminder: halfway is not the end — it’s an invitation to realign.

Reflect. Pray. Take stock.

One thing I’ve learned? Fasting isn’t just something we do in January.

Fasting doesn’t only get you things from God — it gets you closer to God.

And sometimes closeness is the breakthrough.

If this year has felt like wilderness, remember Hagar.

She thought she was only carrying pain, but in the wilderness God revealed she was carrying promise.

You may feel pressure, but pressure with God produces refinement.

Don’t give up on what you believed God for in 2026.

God is not a man that He should lie. 🤍

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8
